Shelly is the best. We could stop here but that would still not be enough. We are a french family living in New York and we were looking for a house in Washington state. Early on, while we were still looking at houses online. Shelly contacted us and we started to plan our 10 days in Washington state to go visit houses. We had no idea how to buy a house in the US and early on Shelly was really responsive and really helpful. On the first day we arrived, we finally met Shelly in person and narrowed down what we wanted. It was already clear at that moment that Shelly knows her job. She has been also really really nice with our kids. We came without an approval letter because we wanted to do this in Washington state instead, Shelly, here again, has been really helpful and recommended few persons. In a day and a half we had our approval letter and another day or two after we had an underwriting ready. Shelly proposed us to come visit her at her office so she can walk us through what is an offer, and what it means. She had prepared everything before our arrival for our kids so they can be busy drawing. She has been very professional, and helpful, it was not easy to grasp everything on the first shot (because English is not our primary language) but Shelly never let us down and made sure we were understanding everything properly so she can better help us putting an offer when the time comes. Approaching the end of our stay, there was 1 house that we really liked a lot. Before visiting this house with us, Shelly investigated what was around in the market for us to better estimate the house. She found that there was the same house few blocks away from the one we liked. We went visiting it with her the same day but still decided to put our offer on the first house because the price was lower. The review date for the second house was less than a day after the end of the first house review date. Shelly told us to think about if we would be willing to put an offer on the second one. She knew the competition will be hard on the first house because of the price starting low compared to the second house. Shelly managed to get all the documents about the house like the inspection reports, the preliminary titles etc for both houses while preparing the offer for the first house. Because we had to wire our earnest money, Shelly told us to contact the escrow office to get the wiring information in case our offer is accepted, but the escrow office wouldn't share it over the phone because of wire fraud. We needed this information because we were about to fly back to NY. We went to get it in person and they didn't want to give it to us because our offer was not accepted... After letting Shelly know, she stepped out of a family dinner she was having and called the vice president of the escrow office, few minutes after we had the paper with the wiring instructions in our hands. We'll always remember that night, we were all packed because our flight was early the next morning, Shelly called us to let us know that we didn't get the first house, we were really sad. Shelly was still on the phone with us and we started to talk about the second house and decided to put an offer for it. It was already late but Shelly worked on it and sent us everything an hour or so later so we can review + sign the offer. We jumped on the plane in the morning and got a call from Shelly few hours after we landed to let us know that we got the second house, we couldn't believe it. This all worked out thanks to all the hard work Shelly did for us. Then, from New York, working with Shelly, her team and everyone involved in the process of closing the deal was like if we were all in the same room, everything went really smoothly. Shelly was always available for the millions questions we had, with always an answer, an explanation, suggestions, recommendations. The day of the closing she called us to let us know it was done, we were the owner of the house. We were not expecting her to call but she's passionate and cares a lot about the people she's working with. We're now 10 days after the closing and Shelly is still checking in to see if everything is going well. We could write a novel about Shelly. She's really the best and I would say that you should picture what is the best and then try to imagine something even better than that, Shelly would still be above all of this! We can't imagine going through all of this without Shelly's precious help, really.
